The fish in Redmill are in immaculate condition and our rules are there to ensure they stay that way. The high quality of anglers who visit Redmill means we are able to keep the rules to a minimum.

Terms and Conditions

  • Once REDMILL receive your deposit, your holiday will be reserved for you and your party. Your booking is taken to be confirmed and accepted in respect of all persons on payment of this deposit.
  • A non-refundable/transferable deposit of 20% per person/lake exclusive must be paid within two weeks to secure your booking.
  • The balance is required no later than 2 months before your booking date. If a booking is placed 8 weeks prior to your arrival date the total cost of your holiday must be paid in full.
  • If full payment is not received 2 months prior to the arrival date, REDMILL reserve the right to cancel your booking. Deposits will not be refunded and a cancellation fee may be incurred.
  • If however you cancel your confirmed booking, it will only be accepted in writing from the Group Organiser and the following charges will apply:
    • Cancellation 8 weeks or more before travel date cancellation fee = deposit only
    • Cancellation 5-8 weeks before travel date cancellation fee = 50% of the total cost
    • Cancellation less than 5 weeks before travel date cancellation fee = full cost of the holiday
    • All holiday payments are non transferable to a 3rd party.
  • All travel arrangements / insurance requirements are your responsibility and we accept no responsibility for delays or cancellations in ferries or if there are irregularities in your documents.
  • Force Majeure: We will not be held liable for loss or delay occasioned by any of the following: Strikes, Political Unrest, Riots, Port Closures, War or Threat of, Terrorist Activity, Industrial Disputes, Fire, Flood, Technical / Weather problems to transportation, Acts of God or any other event(s) beyond our control.
  • If any changes to the confirmed booking are required, we will try and be flexible wherever possible.
  • Pets are not allowed.
  • Jurisdiction: Payment of a deposit constitutes a verbal contract of acceptance of a contract on these terms subject to English Law and the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
  • We reserve the right to terminate your vacation if you are in any way causing a disturbance or harm to other anglers, other people, the grounds, the lake or any part of the REDMILL  property. You will not be liable to a refund or compensation and you may incur costs for any damage carried out.
  • Under 16s must fish in the same swim as an adult and there is a 4 rod limit for that swim.
  • Parents are responsible for their children’s safety and behaviour at all times.
  • All damages to REDMILL property/equipment must be paid for.
  • The person making the booking should have read and accepted these terms and conditions. Deposits are accepted on the strict undertaking that this action has been taken.

The Rules

  • Maximum of 7 anglers.
  • Sensible use of bait boats is allowed on exclusive bookings only. 
  • 3 rods per person maximum
  • No braided main line (except on markers or spods)
  • Minimum of 15lb breaking strain line
  • No leadcore. Safety leaders and Rig tubing only to be used. 
  • No pulling for a break. All line and end tackle must be recovered from the boat.
  • Barbed hooks only
  • With the exception of hook baits all bait, including pellet and particle, must be supplied by Redmill.
  • All unhooking mats, cradles, weigh slings and landing nets are supplied, a deposit of €40 is required, however anglers are welcome to use their own landing nets which must be dipped before use.
