Pads – Not very well named as the pads are not here. As with bamboos a very prolific swim and can be sociable as bamboos and pads are close together. The cut is a strong feature and the second island margin can be fished from this swim. Read More >

Bamboos – A very popular choice as it produces large hauls of fish. The key features are the island and the cut between the islands. The aerator in the summer can attract fish as well. Read More >

Pink Bush – The main feature is the island where the fish follow the far margin. However mid water produces some big fish if you can set your traps. Never ignore the near margin but you need to be quiet. Read More >

Long Chuck – A long cast will see you fishing the dam margin and there is plenty of mid water features if you can find them. This is also the first swim you can fish to the island. Again a consistent swim with plenty of features. Read More >

Sluice – If you painted a picture of the perfect swim this would be it. Weeping willows on the dam bank are obvious features but do not forget open water. A very productive swim all year round. Read More >

Gate – You need a quiet approach in this swim as the fishing is at close range. A quiet corner to your left and the dam wall in front. This swim produces some of the bigger fish on its day. Read More >

Double – There is plenty of room for two anglers or wide scope for a single angler. Double left fishes to the left margin and mid water. Don’t get too drawn to the island here try and find more subtle features. Double right fishes towards the end of the first island and the channel between island and dam. Boom – A good swim to fish as the pressure builds on the opposite bank. If you are part of a large group it can pay to fish here. A good swim to move too if other swims are not productive. Read More >

Cut – Close in fishing but good island and near bank fishing. The fish pass through this area regularly and you can set traps for them when they arrive. If left alone this can be a great stalking swim. Read More >

All Alone – This swim holds the lake record and despite being shallow can produce some fantastic catches. There is plenty of water to cast to but avoid it if someone is fishing Frogs. Great swim to drop in for short day session. Read More >
